The woman who can do anything, Betty White, is launching a clothing line, WWD reports. The t-shirts and hoodies made in collaboration with Jerry Leigh Apparel, a Van Nuys, Calif.-based clothing manufacturer will hit stores in August, at prices between $28 to $48. Part of the proceeds will go to the Morris Animal Foundation, an animal health organization, so customers will not only be supporting White, but also adorable animals. Here’s a preview of what you can expect:
Ah-mazing CollaborationWe reported on Madonna’s new Junior line for Macy’s called Material Girl, a short-time ago, and the first look at the collection became available today. Lourdess obviously had her hand in the collection. It’s very lower-east side grunge rocker. Take a look.
Ah-mazing CollaborationBRITNEY!!! I nearly screamed like a 13 year old girl when I saw that Britney Spears has designed a limited edition clothing line for Candie’s exclusively at Kohl’s. The line is beyond. She has a trench coat, faded jeans, shoes, accessories, I mean she went all out. And can we talk about the advertising? Sooo cute. She looks unreal. This line is definitely going to put Kohl’s back on the map.
Ah-mazing CollaborationThis is gonna be hot. Alicia Keys has collaborated with Giorgio Armani for four looks that will be custom made for her to be worn on her upcoming European Tour. From the looks of the sketches, Alicia is going to look out of this world. This is unlike anything she’s ever done before.
Ah-mazing CollaborationThe German nail salon, skin care and cosmetics brand Alessandro International, has made the beautifully plastic LaToya Jackson the endorser of their Dream Cream which is a vanilla, sweet almond and patchouli-scented cream that contains diamond powder, malachite, shea butter, peptides and more. LaToya was the spark and inspiration behind the product after she complained to the hand care expert that all of the hand creams and lotions she has tried never seem to last.
The 100-ml. cream comes in a container topped with 285 Crystallized-Swarovski Elements intended as a showpiece for the bathroom or boudoir, and is priced at 169 euros, or $226.69. The product has a rich texture that is meant to endure multiple hand washings.
Apparently, LaToya is also a very diligent worker. Troska, the managing director for Alessandro International, said LaToya called him at 3 am and made him get out of bed to discuss the samples he had sent her. What would the world do without LaToya.
Ah-mazing CollaborationWe have been waiting for this FOREVER! Looks like Madonna isn’t the only diva designing sunglasses these days. Our girl Gaga who has always been known for her badass sunglasses is in talks with Linda Farrow to collab on a sunglass collection of her own. If the glasses she normally wears are any indication of what the new line will look like, it is sure to be ah-maaaaazing.
Ah-mazing CollaborationLast week we reported on Madonna’s new Junior’s line for Macy’s called Material Girl, well now we have our first peek at Madonna’s new sunglasses line for Dolce & Gabbana. The following is a list of Madonna’s actual involvement with the sunglasses which will cost $248 – $298 a pair:
1) Bear prominent MDG logos with an “M” made from little stars
2) Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana sketched more than 50 styles of shades and sent them to Madge so she could edit, tweak, and change the designs to her liking.
3) She came up with the ad campaign and is also in it which was shot by Steven Klein.
4) The print campaign was picked from stills from a video shoot Klein did with Madonna, in which she flirts “seductively in diva-like poses” with model Tyson Ballou.
It is confirmed. We are pleased to announce Madonna is collaborating with Iconix Brand Group to design a Junior’s line for Macy’s and eyewear. The Junior’s line for Macy’s will be named Material Girl and will be launching this August. It is targeted towards girls from 13-25 and is inspired by Lourdes! The first line will include clothes, shoes, handbags, and jewelry that range from $12 to $40 which is extremely affordable. If it’s anything like Madonna’s line for H&M it is sure to be ah-mazing.
Ah-mazing CollaborationFinally, the openly promiscuous Gaga is giving her little monsters a way to have safe sex; Lady Gaga condoms. It’s about damn time. The condom wrappers have been designed by Jeremy Scott, so not only do they promote safe sex but they’re also extremely fashionable. The condoms will be available through the Proper Attire condom company and come in three types: ribbed, dots, and yummy sheer. So next time you dance in the dark, you can think, ra ra ooo la la.
Ah-mazing CollaborationMusical artist Mary J. Blige and fashion designer Catherine Malandrino are teaming up to make t-shirts for a good cause. The name of the line is Ffawn, and proceeds go towards the betterment of the Foundation For the Achievement of Women Now, and will be available at Bloomingdale’s next week. Finally, celebs create something for charity that doesn’t look like it’s for charity. We give this collab two ah-mazing thumbs up.
