They say there are three sides to every story, however when dealing with a sluntress like Kimora Lee Simmons, there’s only one side and it’s hers and up until this point we believed her story. Unfortunately, someone at Baby Phat thought it would be cute to spill the beans to the press that Kimora didn’t quit, she was fired.

The whistleblower stated Baby Phat was trying to cut costs, “Kimora was going over-budget. She’d pay herself a fee to be in the ads, plus she paid her children fees to appear in ads. It costs thousands of dollars to airbrush her because she’s a size 10. Plus, they spent a ton of money on body doubles. They would shoot another model in the clothes, and take Kimora’s head and put in on her body.”

Any business person knows, the dumbest thing you can do is to get rid of the creator of the company especially if that person is the spokesperson and has a huge following and reality tv show promoting the brand. Good luck Baby Phat in all your endeavors. May you fail horribly.
